Susepu mandates Ejesa to restructure electricity billing schedule

The Superintendency of Public Services and Other Concessions (Susepu) has intervened to mandate a restructuring of the billing schedule for the electricity distributor Ejesa in Jujuy, Argentina.

Following the detection of overlapping due dates that could cause payment accumulation and financial strain for consumers, Susepu required Ejesa to realign its processes with current regulatory frameworks. As a result of this reprogramming, some users will face two billing deadlines within September. To mitigate the economic impact on households, Ejesa announced that the second due date can be paid until October 10, 2026, without incurring late interest or additional charges.
