Sushiro and Tokushima Kick Off July Food Festivals Across Japan

Sushiro is running its annual "Yearly Exceptional Tuna Festival" at all its locations from July 3 to July 20, 2026. The chain partnered with Shizuoka‑based tuna wholesaler Yashima Suisan to offer a range of premium tuna cuts, including natural bluefin, Indian, and Mebachi tuna, served with a special red‑vinegar sauce and domestic horseradish. The limited‑time menu includes items such as red‑marbled tuna sashimi, large‑slice bin‑chang tuna, and a seasonal grilled blackthroat fish.

From July 10 to July 12, 2026, Tokushima City will host the ninth "All Meat Festival" in Aibahama Park. Over 30 stalls will present more than 200 meat‑based dishes covering beef, pork, chicken, fish and even fruit‑based meat alternatives. The event also features free stage performances, a carnival area with large inflatable rides, and tasting booths for wine and other samples, aiming to attract families and food enthusiasts alike.
