La Caleta Manufacturing Fair opens in Santo Domingo Este

The Sixth La Caleta Manufacturing Fair has opened at the La Caleta Submarine Park in Santo Domingo Este. Organized by the Enriquillo Sociocultural Center (Cesocue) and the Etikos Foundation, with support from the MESOACCESS regional project, the event aims to showcase the productivity and artisanal talent of the local community.

The fair runs from September 25 to September 27 and features international delegations from Guatemala, Panama, and Colombia. The program includes folkloric performances, dance, theater, workshops for entrepreneurs, traditional games, gastronomic samples, and artisanal exhibitions. A dedicated MESOACCESS International Tent has also been established to facilitate regional exchange and community development.
