SUTSMP workers to elect new leadership in Pachuca de Soto

Affiliated workers of the Sindicato Único de Trabajadores al Servicio del Municipio de Pachuca de Soto (SUTSMP) are scheduled to vote on September 5 to renew the organization’s Executive Committee for the 2026-2029 period.

Two groups are competing in the election: the green slate, ‘Por un sindicato para todos’, led by Pablo Anaya García, and the blue slate, ‘Unidad y Democracia Sindical’, led by Irma María de Jesús López Arroyo. Both candidates have received approval from the Electoral Committee after meeting the requirements established in the union's statutes.

The winning committee will oversee nine secretariats, including areas such as Finance, Labor and Conflicts, and Training and Housing. The election is being supervised by an Electoral Committee chaired by Eusebio Díaz Herrera.
