SUTSMP union leadership election in Pachuca

The Sindicato Único de Trabajadores al Servicio del Municipio de Pachuca de Soto (SUTSMP) held elections to renew its Executive Committee for the 2026-2029 term.

Irma María de Jesús López Arroyo won the election, securing 593 votes against 513 for Anaya García. The election saw a turnout of 1,126 votes from a total membership of 1,393. This leadership change concludes a twenty-year period under Percy Leonardo Bustamante Espinosa, whose recognition was denied by the Arbitration Tribunal in 2024. The new executive committee awaits formal certification by the Arbitration Tribunal.
