Suyudi Ario Seto appointed as Indonesia's new National Police Chief

President Prabowo Subianto has implemented a significant leadership reshuffle within the Indonesian government. General Suyudi Ario Seto has been officially inaugurated as the new Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), succeeding General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The appointment followed approval from the House of Representatives (DPR RI) during its 8th Plenary Meeting.

In a related transition, Listyo Sigit Prabowo has been appointed as the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), replacing Dudung Abdurachman. Additionally, Dedi Prasetyo has been named the Head of the National Agrarian Reform Agency (BRAN). To honor his service, President Prabowo awarded Listyo Sigit the Bintang Mahaputera Adipurna distinction.

Furthermore, the President inaugurated 26 members of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres). The council will be led by Pratikno as Chair and Muhammad Hatta Rajasa as Vice Chair. Notable appointments to the council include academic Rocky Gerung, who stated his role would be to provide critical ethical perspectives on government policy rather than technical administration.
