Suzlon Energy Q4 FY26 profit falls 5‑6% as revenue jumps 45% and wind deliveries hit record

Suzlon Energy reported a year‑on‑year decline of about 5.6‑5.7% in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,114 crore for the March quarter of FY26, primarily due to a deferred‑tax asset charge. Revenue from operations surged 45% to roughly Rs 5.47‑5.49 crore, driven by a 51% rise in wind‑turbine sales and higher maintenance services.

For the full FY26, revenue rose 54% to Rs 16,679 crore and net profit increased 53% to Rs 3,163 crore. The company achieved its highest ever annual wind‑energy deliveries in India at 2,456 MW and a record 830 MW in Q4. Its order book stands at about 5.9 GW, with around two‑thirds of orders from public‑sector and commercial‑industrial customers. Suzlon maintained a net cash position of Rs 2,384 crore.

Brokerage analysts remain positive, highlighting the strong order inflow, execution pace and future growth potential; shares have risen over 45% in the past three months and many firms have upgraded target prices.
