Suzuki and Mitsubishi debut new models at GIIAS 2026

Major automotive manufacturers Suzuki and Mitsubishi showcased new vehicle models at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

Suzuki reported strong consumer interest in the new XL7 7-seater SUV, noting that 23% of participants specifically requested test drives. Visitors highlighted the vehicle's 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), interior spaciousness, and updated exterior design.

Mitsubishi introduced the 2026 facelifted versions of the Xpander and Xpander Cross MPVs in Indonesia. The Xpander is available in three variants with prices ranging from 274,500,000 to 348,000,000 rupiah, while the Xpander Cross is offered in two variants priced between 348,000,000 and 374,000,000 rupiah. Both models feature a 1,499 cc engine and are available with either a five-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
