Suzuki launches Across hybrid SUV in Argentina

Suzuki, through its Argentine distributor Inchcape, introduced the Across hybrid SUV to the local market. The model is imported from India and features a mild‑hybrid powertrain with a 1.5‑litre gasoline engine delivering 101 hp, paired with a six‑speed automatic transmission and front‑wheel drive.

The vehicle measures 4,360 mm in length with a 2,600 mm wheelbase and offers a 10.25‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1‑inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging and a 17‑inch alloy wheel design. Safety equipment includes six airbags, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane‑centering assistance, a 360° camera and cross‑traffic alerts. Two trim levels are available: the GLX adds Infinity sound, leather‑wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting, an electric driver’s seat and a panoramic roof. Prices start at USD 27,990 for the Hybrid 1.5 AT GL and USD 29,990 for the Hybrid 1.5 AT GLX, with a warranty of three years or 100,000 km and scheduled maintenance every 10,000 km.
