Suzuki reduces prices for its first mass-produced electric SUV, the e Vitara
Suzuki has reduced the starting price of its e Vitara, the manufacturer's first mass-produced battery electric vehicle (BEV). In the UK, the compact electric SUV is now available from £24,999, positioning it as a more affordable option in the competitive compact SUV segment.
The e Vitara is built on a dedicated platform developed through a partnership between Suzuki, Toyota, and Daihatsu. The vehicle features a rugged design with black exterior trim and a modern interior equipped with a digital instrument display and a central infotainment screen.
Customers can choose between two battery capacities: a 49 kWh option providing a range of approximately 214 miles (344 km), and a 61 kWh option that can be paired with an all-wheel-drive system. The model competes with other electric SUVs such as the Kia EV3 and Skoda Elroq.
