Various regional football and handball leagues begin new seasons

Various regional and national sports leagues in Germany, Austria, and Denmark have commenced their new seasons across football and handball.

In handball, the Frauen Bundesliga saw high-scoring matches, including a 30-30 draw between BSV Sachsen Zwickau and VfL Oldenburg, where Liv Navne scored six goals. HSG Bensheim/Auerbach FLAMES secured a 22-34 victory against Sportunion Neckarsulm, while SG Flensburg-Handewitt introduced a new data analysis role for Sportdirektor Ljubomir Vranjes during their win against ThSV Eisenach.

In football, several regional matches were recorded. KSV Hessen Kassel and SSVg Velbert 02 both secured significant wins in their respective leagues. In Austria, LASK continues its strong run in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, while SCR Altach women played to a 2-2 draw against LASK. Local matches in the LT1 OÖ Liga and A-Klassen also saw various results, including a draw between Micheldorf and Garsten.
