Svetozar Basara begins 1,300 km bicycle ride for charity

Svetozar Basara, a physical education professor from Banja Luka, has embarked on a 1,300-kilometer humanitarian bicycle journey to the Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos. The ride aims to raise funds for the 'Iskra' Parent's House, which supports children suffering from malignant diseases and their families.

Basara expects to complete the journey in seven to eight days. Members of the public can support the cause by purchasing kilometers for a symbolic price of 5 KM each. All proceeds will be paid directly to the account of the 'Iskra' Parent's House. Basara expressed his excitement and commitment to the cause, stating that upon arrival at the monastery, he intends to pray for the health of the children and his loved ones.
