Charity bicycle ride for childhood cancer support

Overview

Svetozar Basara, a physical education professor from Banja Luka, has begun a 1,300-kilometer humanitarian bicycle journey to the Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos. The ride is intended to raise funds for the ‘Iskra’ Parent's House, an organization that supports children suffering from malignant diseases and their families.

Basara expects to complete the trek within seven to eight days. Supporters can contribute to the cause by purchasing kilometers for a symbolic price of 5 KM each, with all proceeds going directly to the account of the ‘Iskra’ Parent's House. Upon reaching the monastery, Basara intends to pray for the health of the children and his loved ones.
