Fagersta school attack suspect carried weapon prior to incident

Investigations into the school attack at Brinellskolan in Fagersta reveal that the suspect, 18-year-old Liam Nebel, had been carrying a sword and equipment as early as the day before the incident.

Reports indicate that months prior to the attack, Nebel was denied the opportunity to participate in military conscription. Despite expressing high motivation in his application, the Swedish Military Service Agency (Plikt- och prövningsverket) informed him in March that he would not be called for conscription based on his submitted health and personal information.

Authorities are currently investigating the potential triggers behind the attack, though no specific motive has been officially released by the police.
