Sweden reports thefts of copper cable and Volvo car parts

Sweden is experiencing various thefts targeting valuable materials and vehicle components. In Kungsbacka, police have reported a wave of thefts specifically targeting Volvo V70 models, particularly those manufactured between 2013 and 2015. Recent incidents in Frillesås involved the theft of grills, skirt kits, license plates, and light ramps.

Separately, in the Lycksele municipality, copper cable valued at over 400,000 SEK was stolen from the Kristineberg mine. Six cable drums were taken from the industrial area. While police have secured forensic evidence at the mine, they currently have no suspects and have described the case as difficult to investigate due to a lack of camera surveillance at the site.
