Swedish highways face multiple traffic disruptions on E4, E18 and road 1126
Traffic on Sweden's major highways has been repeatedly disrupted. A stalled passenger car blocked a lane on the E4 northbound towards Uppsala between the Måby traffic site and the Stockholm‑Uppsala county border, according to the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). A similar blockage caused by a broken car halted traffic on the E18 towards Stockholm between Hammarby and the Görla traffic site.
In addition, fallen trees on road 1126 between Valö and Vamsta have created problems for vehicles traveling in both directions, further adding to the congestion on regional routes.
These incidents have led to lane closures and traffic delays on the affected stretches, prompting motorists to seek alternative routes.
