Sweden political landscape shifts as opposition leads in polls

Recent political polling in Sweden indicates a significant lead for opposition parties, which hold 52.5 percent compared to 45.6 percent for the Tidö parties. Within the right-wing bloc, Sverigedemokraterna (SD) leads the Moderaterna with 19.1 percent and 18.3 percent respectively. Jimmie Åkesson has stated that if SD remains the largest party on the right, he intends to lead the opposition to prevent the Socialdemokraterna, Vänsterpartiet, and Miljöpartiet from reversing current political changes.
