SWI Group pivots to digital infrastructure with major acquisition

SWI Capital Holding Ltd (SWI Group) has announced a major strategic shift, allocating over 80% of its capital to a transatlantic digital infrastructure platform with a capacity exceeding 4 GW. The company aims to increase this allocation to 90% in the future.

As part of this transition, SWI Group has completed the acquisition of a controlling stake of more than 70% in Genesis Digital Assets (GDA), which will be rebranded as SWI Digital. This entity will serve as the group’s US-focused digital infrastructure platform. Morgan Stanley & Co LLC acted as the exclusive financial advisor for the acquisition.

The group plans to develop its own High-Performance Computing (HPC) and GPU-as-a-service platform. Focusing heavily on data centers and AI infrastructure, SWI Group expects to achieve double-digit balance sheet growth in 2026.
