SwissCuba Association protests US blockade in Basel

Activists from the SwissCuba Association held a demonstration at the Mittlere Brücke in Basel, Switzerland, to denounce the United States economic blockade against Cuba. The protest, held on August 17, aimed to highlight the impact of US policies and called for an end to what they described as American terrorism.

In addition to the protest, the association collaborated with the Cuban Embassy and the Diplomatic Mission to international organizations in Bern to host a screening of the documentary ‘Fidel de Cerca’. The event was part of the commemorations for the centenary of Fidel Castro and brought together Cuban residents in Switzerland and various solidarity organizations.
