Sydney Roosters face Dolphins in NRL preliminary final

The Sydney Roosters are set to face the Dolphins in an NRL preliminary final at a sold-out Suncorp Stadium. The match carries significant historical weight, particularly regarding the legacy of Arthur Beetson, a figure synonymous with both the Roosters and the Dolphins.

Statistically, the Roosters have maintained a high success rate in home preliminary finals, winning 87.5 percent of those contests. However, they face a challenge in breaking an away-game trend, having won only one of their last five away preliminary finals. To advance, the Roosters must secure their first away preliminary final victory in 16 years.
