Sylvester Stallone criticizes Iran military intervention and Trump

Actor Sylvester Stallone has expressed strong opposition to military intervention in Iran, distancing himself from former President Donald Trump. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Pais, the 80-year-old actor criticized the idea of conflict in the region, stating that war is only justified if a nation is attacked.

Stallone criticized the military-industrial complex, suggesting that only those in the industry profit from such conflicts at the expense of poor people and soldiers. He compared the current geopolitical situation to historical conflicts like the Korean War and the Vietnam War, expressing deep sympathy for the lives of service members.

Regarding his relationship with Donald Trump, Stallone noted that his political views have changed. He also clarified that he previously declined an offer to serve as a Hollywood advisor or ambassador, stating that Hollywood is a business-driven industry and that he was not the right person for such a role.
