Synology promotes data infrastructure solutions for AI adoption in Southeast Asia

Synology is addressing the growing demand for robust data infrastructure to support artificial intelligence adoption across Southeast Asia. At recent events in Thailand and Indonesia, the company highlighted the necessity of building secure, scalable, and resilient data foundations to manage the massive influx of information generated by AI workloads.

In Indonesia, a Synology survey revealed that nearly 88% of companies are concerned that their current infrastructure cannot accommodate the growth of AI-driven data and data duplication. Furthermore, only 20% of surveyed companies feel confident in their ability to recover quickly from ransomware attacks. To mitigate these risks, Synology is promoting strategies such as the 3-2-1-1-0 rule, immutable backups, and air-gapping.

To support these needs, Synology is introducing advanced hardware and software solutions, including the PAS7700 All-NVMe storage system designed for critical workloads. The company is also focusing on on-premises AI solutions to enhance productivity through tools like Office Suite and ChatPlus, as well as intelligent surveillance systems to improve organizational security and operational efficiency.
