Syria celebrates Syrian Women's Week with cultural events

Syria is observing Syrian Women's Week through a series of cultural, educational, and artistic events organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Arab Cultural Center.

A central feature is the collective fine arts exhibition titled ‘Woman: Giving and Creativity’ at the Arab Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh, Damascus. Supervised by Dr. Raghad Said, the exhibition includes works from 33 artists using various techniques such as acrylic, oil, and collage to depict women in diverse societal roles, including workers, educators, and leaders.

Other scheduled activities include psychological support workshops for mothers of people with special needs, seminars on women's rights in Syrian law, and discussions regarding women's roles in community and political work. The programming also extends to regional areas, featuring legal awareness sessions in جرمانا, reproductive health lectures in Daraa, and short film festivals in Homs.
