Syrian Hajj Administration announces costs and requirements for 1448 AH season

The Syrian Hajj and Umrah Administration has announced the financial and logistical details for the 1448 AH (2027) Hajj season. Following the recent lottery held at Euphrates University in Deir ez-Zor, the administration set the first installment of Hajj costs at $3,500 USD. This payment must be made between October 11 and October 27, 2026, exclusively through Sham Cash or Al Baraka Bank.

The total cost covers accommodation in Mecca and Medina, services at the holy sites, pilgrim supplies, catering, electronic processing, transportation, and administrative fees. It does not include sacrificial offerings (Hady), private rooms, or transportation from the pilgrim's home to the airport.

Travelers are required to use designated flights through six specific airports: Damascus, Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Istanbul, Gaziantep, and Cairo. Additionally, pilgrims must adhere to health regulations issued by the Saudi Ministry of Health, which include restrictions for individuals with major organ failure, active infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, active cancerous tumors, or high-risk pregnancies.
