Szczecin-Goleniów Airport announces new terminal construction and winter flight schedule
Szczecin-Goleniów Airport is undergoing significant infrastructure and operational changes. Prime Construction, a company based in Szczecin, has been selected to build a new passenger terminal at a cost of over 183 million PLN gross. The project involves the demolition of the old arrivals terminal to make way for a modern complex, which is considered a strategic investment for the connectivity of the West Pomeranian region. During the construction period, the airport will remain operational, utilizing a temporary terminal to serve passengers.
In addition to infrastructure developments, a new winter flight schedule will take effect starting October 25. The airline WizzAir will increase connections to Norway, specifically operating flights to Bergen twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays due to rising demand. The winter schedule also includes seasonal flights to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, organized by JoinUP! Polska, running every Saturday from December 19 to February 27.
