Szczecin-Goleniów Airport expansion and operations

Overview

Szczecin-Goleniów Airport is undergoing significant operational and infrastructural developments. In preparation for the summer 2027 season, the airport and travel agency TUI announced the addition of new charter destinations, including Rhodes, Greece, and Marsa Alam, Egypt, alongside increased frequency to Antalya, Turkey.

Parallel to these seasonal expansions, the airport has initiated major infrastructure projects. Prime Construction has been selected to build a new passenger terminal at a cost exceeding 183 million PLN gross. This project requires the demolition of the existing arrivals terminal, though the airport will remain operational via a temporary terminal during construction.

Operational changes also include a new winter flight schedule. WizzAir is increasing its connections to Bergen, Norway, to twice weekly, while JoinUP! Polska will operate seasonal flights to Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from December 2026 through February 2027.
