Szombathely and Kecskemét host summer music and art festivals

In Szombathely, the Urban pARTy street‑art festival filled the temporarily closed Kőszegi Street on July 28. The event, now in its third edition, featured 14 musical performances and 17 visual‑arts installations, drawing local musicians and artists to the city centre from 10 a.m. until midnight.

In Kecskemét, the Kodály Festival opened on Wednesday, July 29, and will run through August 2. Organized by Hírós Agóra, the five‑day programme includes classical concerts by the Kecskeméti Symphony Orchestra, exhibitions, city walks, dance shows and free outdoor performances. The festival highlights the legacy of Zoltán Kodály and offers activities for all ages across the city centre.
