Tabuk Governor inaugurates road projects worth 176 million riyals

Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Tabuk region, has inaugurated three vital road projects with a total cost of 176 million riyals. The projects, launched in the presence of the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, focus on repairing damaged sites on the roads connecting Tabuk to Madinah, Al-Jouf, and Duba.

These infrastructure developments aim to enhance road safety and improve the travel experience between regional governorates, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve quality of life and sustainable development. The Minister noted that the projects adhere to the highest safety standards and the Saudi Road Code.

Additionally, the Prince launched the ‘Safe and Distinguished Roads’ initiative. This program involves a comprehensive survey and evaluation of road networks outside urban areas using a large-scale assessment fleet. The initiative also encourages local residents to report observations via a dedicated call center, application, or social media platforms to help maintain national road assets.
