Tabuk region launches 2.3 billion riyal development and housing projects

Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Tabuk region, has overseen a series of major developmental, investment, and housing initiatives totaling over 2.3 billion riyals. The projects, held in the presence of Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail, include several key sectors:

Urban Services and Investment: Contracts worth 380 million riyals were signed for city cleaning services, expanding the service scope to a fifth area. Investment projects through ‘Bawaba for Investment’ are expected to reach 1.5 billion riyals, including a 1-billion-riyal commercial district covering 140,000 square meters, and the construction of six residential and commercial towers.

Housing and Social Support: Multiple housing contracts worth 354 million riyals were signed to develop 344 units, contributing to a total of 5,100 units in regional development projects. Additionally, 177 housing units worth 72 million riyals are being established. Through the ‘Joud Housing’ initiative and the ‘Sakani’ foundation, 317 housing units were delivered to eligible families.

Community and Agriculture: The Governor also presided over the 35th Model Farm Award, honoring 30 farmers for excellence in agricultural production and sustainability. Furthermore, the 39th Scientific Excellence and Distinction Award was held, recognizing achievements in community service, innovation, and academic performance.
