TAC to host civil service career guidance seminars

TAC is hosting a series of free information sessions aimed at individuals interested in pursuing careers in the civil service.

An online seminar titled ‘Teach Me from Scratch! Civil Servants!’ is scheduled for October 9, 2026. This session is designed for a wide range of candidates, including students, current professionals considering a career change, and those undecided between the private sector and government roles. The program will cover job descriptions, examination systems, and TAC’s specific curriculum.

Additionally, a specialized guidance session for experienced professionals will be held at the TAC Shinjuku School on October 14, 2026. Led by Masashi Ioka, a former civil servant with extensive experience in municipal administration, this seminar focuses on the realities of transitioning from the private sector to government roles. The session will address specific challenges for mid-career applicants, such as professional experience essays and interviews, which are critical components of the recruitment process for experienced hires.
