TAC professional certification and career programs

Overview

TAC Co., Ltd. has announced a series of online and in-person educational programs focused on professional certification and career advancement.

Initial announcements included free guidance sessions for civil service examinations, an interactive course for the Registered Information Security Specialist qualification to address cybersecurity professional shortages, and a webinar regarding Financial Planner and Social Insurance Labor Consultant licenses.

Subsequent programming expanded to include specialized support for civil service candidates, such as a Hiroshima-based guidance session on exam systems and online lectures for numerical and spatial skills. The company also scheduled October seminars regarding the accounting profession, focusing on recruitment, career changes, and the impact of AI on certified public accountants.

In October 2026, TAC expanded its civil service support with new seminars. An online session titled ‘Teach Me from Scratch! Civil Servants!’ is scheduled for October 9, targeting students and professionals considering a transition to government roles by covering job descriptions and examination systems. This is followed by a specialized session on October 14 at the TAC Shinjuku School. Led by former municipal administrator Masashi Ioka, this seminar is designed for experienced professionals, focusing on the specific challenges of mid-career recruitment, such as interviews and professional experience essays.
