TAG Heuer launches limited‑edition Carrera Chronograph with Team Ikuzawa

TAG Heuer has unveiled a limited edition of its Carrera Chronograph in partnership with Japan’s historic Team Ikuzawa. Only 150 pieces will be produced, each built on the 39 mm Carrera Glassbox stainless‑steel case and water‑resistant to 100 m.

The watch’s design draws on the look of 1970s Japanese race‑timing instruments, featuring a white dial with a Clous‑de‑Paris texture, prominent black hands, and red accents that echo Team Ikuzawa’s colours. The chronograph’s layout is bicompax, and the small seconds sub‑dial at six o’clock displays the Team Ikuzawa logo and a red‑dated marker. It is powered by TAG Heuer’s in‑house TH20‑10 manufacture calibre.

The collaboration was developed with Mai Ikuzawa and designer George Bamford, who referenced the historic Heuer Roadmaster chronometer used by the team in the 1970s and 1980s. The limited edition pays tribute to pioneering driver Tetsu Ikuzawa and positions the piece as a functional racing tool rather than a purely decorative luxury watch.
