Overview

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer introduced a 150‑piece limited‑edition Carrera Chronograph created with Japan’s historic Team Ikuzawa and the Bamford Watch Department. Unveiled in Tokyo on 30 July 2026, the 39 mm stainless steel "Glassbox" case watch features a white dial with a Clous‑de‑Paris (guilloché) texture, black hands, and red-white racing accents.

The design draws inspiration from the Heuer Roadmaster stopwatch used by the team during the 1970s and 1980s. Technical specifications include a bicompax layout, a red-dated marker, and the in-house TH20-10 automatic calibre providing an 80-hour power reserve. The timepiece is water-resistant to 100 meters.

Developed with designer George Bamford and Mai Ikuzawa, the collaboration serves as a tribute to the racing heritage of driver Tetsu Ikuzawa. Each individually numbered piece is priced at US $10,500 (approximately 1,518,000 yen) and is supplied in a toolbox-style box. The set includes a steel bracelet alongside multiple strap options: a white leather racing strap with red stitching and a white textile strap with red stripes, as well as Team Ikuzawa charms.
