Nicola Lacorte wins maiden F3 Feature Race at Monza

In the FIA Formula 3 weekend at Monza, Nicola Lacorte secured his first career victory in the Feature Race. Driving for DAMS, the Italian took the lead on the 10th lap and maintained it through several safety car periods to win in front of a home crowd.

Tuukka Taponen finished second, followed by Taito Kato in third. The race was marked by significant incidents, including a collision involving championship leader Freddie Slater, who lost a wheel and was forced to abandon the race. Slater's retirement allows his rival, Ugo Ugochukwu, to close the gap in the championship standings.

Earlier in the weekend, Taito Kato achieved a notable victory in the Sprint Race, charging from 9th on the grid to take the win. The weekend highlighted strong performances from Japanese drivers, with both Kato and Hiyu Yamakoshi reaching the podium during the event.
