Taiwan Charity Initiatives Empower Persons with Disabilities and Women

The Quanlian Celebration Charity Foundation partnered with the Qinghe Community Rehabilitation Center to run a "Disability and Women Economic Reconstruction Support Project" in Pingtung. The program supplied NT$240,000 worth of vouchers and a series of training courses covering budgeting, shopping, community participation and job‑readiness, helping participants with mental health challenges gain confidence in daily life.

Lude Special Education School organized a Mid‑Autumn charity gift‑box campaign featuring moon‑cake kits produced by adult learners with disabilities. The school aims to sell 3,000 boxes, with support from several firms that purchased the first hundred boxes. The initiative provides practical work experience in baking, packaging and sales, generating income for the learners and raising public awareness of their capabilities.
