Taiwan issues heavy rain warnings for Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung

The Central Weather Administration has issued heavy rain warnings for Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung due to the influence of the northeast monsoon. Localized heavy rainfall is expected in these eastern regions, with additional chances of rain along the northern coast, the Hengchun Peninsula, and mountainous areas of Greater Taipei.

Temperatures in northern Taiwan and Yilan have dropped to between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. While southern regions remain mostly cloudy to sunny with scattered afternoon showers in mountainous areas, a significant temperature difference between day and night is expected in central and southern Taiwan.

Regarding tropical activity, Typhoon In-Fa is located approximately 1,880 kilometers east of Taipei. It is projected to move in a west-northwest to north-northwest direction, but it is expected to have no direct impact on Taiwan's weather due to its distance.
