Taiwan municipal election polls launched for major cities

NextApple has launched a series of weekly online public opinion polls regarding the upcoming municipal elections in Taiwan. With nine weeks remaining in the countdown, the polls seek to gauge public support for mayoral candidates in major cities, including Taipei, Kaohsiung, Taichung, and Tainan.

The survey is conducted via convenience sampling through the NextApple website, where users participate by logging in with an email address. The polling period is scheduled from September 21 to September 25, 2026. The organization notes that these results reflect the choices of the participants and do not represent traditional probability-based statistical polling.
