The 2026 Asia Winter Baseball League is scheduled to run from November 14 to December 6, featuring six teams including representatives from Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. The tournament will include a new University All-Star team and features various ticketing options, including free admission for some weekday matches.

In preparation for the 2026 Asia Series, the Chinese Taipei national team will hold warm-up games at Xinzhuang Baseball Stadium on November 7 and 8, facing the Wei Chuan Dragons and CTBC Brothers respectively. These matches are designed to help players adjust to competitive rhythms before the official tournament.

Additionally, the Chinese Taipei Baseball5 team secured a historic first victory at the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar. In their opening match, they defeated host nation Senegal with scores of 11-1 and 10-0. This marks the debut of Baseball5 as an official medal sport in the Youth Olympics.
