Taiwanese baseball representatives are preparing for several upcoming international events. The Chinese Taipei national team is scheduled to hold warm-up games at Xinzhuang Baseball Stadium in early November to prepare for the 2026 Asia Series. Additionally, the Chinese Taipei Baseball5 team achieved a historic first victory against Senegal at the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar.

Ahead of the 2026 Asia Professional Baseball Championship (APBC), head coach Kao Chih-kang confirmed roster changes necessitated by health and injury concerns. Pitcher Lin Chao-en will withdraw to recover following medical findings, and outfielder Kong Nien-en is out due to a wrist injury. They will be replaced by pitcher Chang Cheng-en and outfielder Tung Tzu-en. Guo Tian-shin has been named captain for the APBC squad to focus on team cohesion and psychological readiness. Infielder Yang Po-hsiang, who currently plays in Japan, is also set to participate.

For the 2026 Asia Winter Baseball League, which runs from November 14 to December 6, a 30-player Taiwan University All-Star team has been formed. Led by head coach Wang Yi-min, this squad marks the first time a dedicated university team will participate in the league since 2017. The team aims to reach the top four and provide players with visibility for professional transitions. The tournament also serves as preparation for the 2029 World University Games.
