Taiwanese universities advance AI and semiconductor talent training

Educational institutions in Taiwan are intensifying efforts to cultivate high-tech talent through specialized AI and semiconductor training. Da-Yeh University has received funding from the Ministry of Education for its “115th Year Cross-Domain Smart Chip Design Course Promotion Project.” The program aims to strengthen students' abilities in smart chip design and system integration, focusing on hardware foundations, machine vision, and intelligent networking to meet industry demands in the semiconductor and AI sectors.

Simultaneously, Ling Hua University of Science and Technology is promoting internationalization through its AI education initiatives. Under the Ministry of Education’s “Xuehai Dream Building Project,” three students from the Department of Multimedia and Game Development completed a seven-week internship in Canada at the Royal International Institute of Canada. The students applied generative AI tools to digital marketing, content creation, and web development, receiving high praise from the host institution for their professional skills and ability to adapt to international work environments.
