Taiwan's 2026 Comic Expo Allows Cultural Currency Payments

The 2026 Comic Expo will be held from July 23‑27 at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center. Organisers have announced that 52 designated booths – including major publishers, toy and model vendors, and original‑brand stalls – will accept the government‑issued Cultural Currency for purchases. Tickets for the expo can also be bought with Cultural Currency through the FamiTicket website.

The event’s “Taiwan Manga Pavilion” will showcase 75 selected Taiwanese titles, partner with four digital platforms and host a slate of creator talks, sign‑ings, and stage shows. Highlights include appearances by actors for the DOLLY IP, live audio‑drama recordings, and exclusive merchandise giveaways for shoppers who meet spending thresholds.
