Taiwan's Taipei and Kaohsiung host major anime and cosplay exhibitions

From July 23 to 27, the 2026 Comic Expo was held at the Taipei World Trade Center, featuring more than 120 companies and over 1,200 booths. The five‑day event attracted roughly 635,000 visitors and highlighted Taiwanese cosplayers, including Ritsu, who performed in a fox‑girl costume inspired by the game "Azur Promilia."

In Kaohsiung, the "薬屋のひとりごと" exhibition opened at the Kaohsiung Station Street area and will run until September 13. The show displays original production materials, three‑dimensional recreations of palace settings, and offers exclusive merchandise and interactive photo spots. It is part of the broader "2026 Summer Love Kaohsiung Metro Anime Season" promotion, drawing large crowds of anime fans.
