Taiwo Hassan battles stage-four cancer amid Nollywood support

Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, widely known as Ogogo, is battling stage-four cancer. His daughters, Lima and Kira Taiwo, have made emotional appeals on social media for medical professionals with cancer treatment expertise to assist their father, noting that his condition has deteriorated.

In response to the news, prominent figures in the Yoruba film industry have gathered to offer prayers for his recovery. Actors including Jide Kosoko, Fausat Balogun, Yinka Quadri, and Rotimi Salami participated in a prayer session seeking divine intervention and strength for the actor.

Jide Kosoko addressed concerns regarding the actor's care, explaining that Ogogo's current medical state makes it impossible to move him to a different facility despite various offers of assistance.
