Japan food industry launches seasonal autumn menus and festivals
Various food and beverage establishments across Japan are launching seasonal autumn promotions. Key highlights include the expansion of Rinku-sha’s ‘Coriander Mala Tsukemen’ and the upcoming ‘Yakiimo (Roasted Sweet Potato) Festival OSAKA 2026’ at Osaka Castle Park, which features approximately 30 different menu items.
Fruit-based seasonal offerings are prominent, with several businesses focusing on Shine Muscat. Cocos Japan is hosting a ‘Shine Muscat Fair’ featuring parfaits and crepes, while other cafes are introducing limited-time Shine Muscat drinks and desserts. Takano Fruit Parlor is also releasing moon-viewing themed parfaits.
Other culinary updates include Big Boy’s ‘Mala Sauce Fair’ featuring spicy hamburger steaks, and Kurazushi’s seasonal ‘Moon Viewing Burger.’ Additionally, JA Town is running an autumn campaign with free shipping on selected agricultural products, and Tochigi Prefecture’s Michi-no-Eki Motegi is preparing for its annual Shine Muscat fair.
