Takashi Yamazaki films to air on Friday Roadshow

To celebrate the upcoming release of director Takashi Yamazaki’s latest film, “Godzilla 0.0,” on November 3, Nippon TV’s “Friday Roadshow” will broadcast two of his major hits over two consecutive weeks.

On October 23, the program will air “Always: Sunset on Third Street” (2005), a human drama set in post-war Tokyo that won 12 awards at the Japan Academy Film Prize. The second week, October 30, will feature a full, uncut broadcast of “Godzilla Minus One” (2023), the Academy Award winner for Best Visual Effects.

Additionally, BS NTV will air the original “Godzilla” on November 1 and a monochrome version of “Godzilla Minus One/C” on November 8.
