Tallinn police detain three illegal migrants in Haabersti

Police in Tallinn apprehended three foreign nationals suspected of entering Estonia illegally near the Astangu forest in the Haabersti district. The incident began after reports of a group of foreigners moving toward a waiting vehicle. Following a search involving additional patrols, a drone, and an ATV, police pursued and detained three men holding Bangladeshi passports.

According to Northern Prefecture operational manager Urmet Tambre, the individuals' route through Estonia reportedly originated from Belarus via Latvia, a pattern consistent with migration trends observed since mid-summer. Authorities are continuing their investigation as they believe some associates of the detained men remain at large in Tallinn.
