Tamaulipas Boosts Ground Connectivity to Mexico City via AIFA Airport

The government of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, led by Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya, announced reinforced ground‑transport links between the Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles (AIFA) and Mexico City. Travelers from the state’s airports in Tampico, Matamoros, Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa and Ciudad Victoria can now reach the capital via AIFA using the new connectivity service. At the airport, a dedicated exhibition area called “Tamaulipas se transforma” displays the natural attractions and artisan products of the state’s 43 municipalities. Tourism Secretary Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez said the initiative will facilitate travel, improve mobility, boost tourism and support regional economic development.
