Tamaulipas implements Colmenas Creativas to boost MICE tourism

The Colmenas Creativas program is being implemented in Tamaulipas to strengthen the region's meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) tourism sector. The initiative provides training and tools to design profitable tourism products that complement large-scale events such as congresses, forums, and conventions.

Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, the Secretary of Tourism for Tamaulipas, stated that the program focuses on creating sustainable, competitive, and innovative products, including cultural, gastronomic, and local identity-based routes. The initiative aims to transform ideas into professional tourism offerings through teamwork and technology, positioning Tamaulipas as a key destination for both national and international organizers.
