Tamaulipas advances economic and fiscal initiatives

The government of Tamaulipas is engaging in several initiatives to bolster regional economic development and administrative coordination. At the Expo Cooperativas 2026 in Mexico City, the Tamaulipas Secretariat of Economy participated to support the social and solidarity economy. The event focused on improving the commercialization, training, and business networking of cooperatives through workshops on e-commerce, distribution, and professionalized production processes.

In Camargo, Tamaulipas, the local government and the Institute of Youth of Tamaulipas (INJUVE) launched the ‘Mercado Joven’ initiative. This program provides a platform for local young entrepreneurs to market creative projects and products, aiming to decentralize economic development and strengthen the local social fabric.

Additionally, the Tamaulipas Secretariat of Finance attended the National Vehicle Control Regularization Forum in San Luis Potosí. Led by Secretary Carlos Irán Ramírez González, the state participated in inter-institutional discussions aimed at harmonizing vehicle control criteria, improving tax collection, and enhancing fiscal coordination between Mexico's 32 states and the federal government.
