Dinakaran highlighted a recent intrusion at a school in Tiruvannamalai district and a birthday celebration of a party administrator held at a government college campus, describing these actions as undue political interference.

Political analysts note that opposition parties, including the DMK and AIADMK, are attempting to form alliances to challenge Vijay’s administration, with rumours of film personalities such as Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan potentially supporting a rival candidate named Annamalai. However, commentators argue that Vijay’s personal popularity and direct engagement with the electorate limit the impact of such alliances.
